Mission

To promote and maintain a safe and secure environment for the students, faculty, and staff of the University of California, Santa Barbara.

PF Life Safety Services is responsible for:

Fire alarm systems: maintenance of existing fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, fire suppression, fire hydrants (P.M. & D.M.) for academic buildings; this includes state mandated performance testing per National Fire Protection Association standards.

Security systems: installation, maintenance, and monitoring for campus customers. Toxic gas detection systems: maintenance and monitoring for research departments.

Access control systems: installation and maintenance for campus customers.
